Anchorage Real Estate

Anchorage, Alaska's largest city, was established in 1914 as a railroad construction port. Today, Anchorage is home to nearly 300,000 residents. The economy is largely driven by the oil industry. It is home to the world's third busiest airport by cargo traffic. It is also home to Elmendorf Air Force Base, Fort Richardson Military Base and Kulis Air National Guard Base.

The real estate market in Anchorage Alaska does not always follow the national trends due to our locality. Our construction also tends to be quite unique due to the colder climate in which we live.
