Handmade Holiday Arts Bazaar
The Handmade Holiday Arts Bazaar is a shopping favorite for people hoping to pick up gifts from Alaskan artists. Handmade quality products relating to Alaska's culture, people, history and environment make wonderful decorations and keepsakes.

Christmas Paddle
The Christmas Paddle is a paddle event that heads down the tailrace for a bonfire on the Knik River. People who come to enjoy the paddle will be served hot cocoa, s'mores and cider. Christmas music will be played. If you're crafty, you may also enjoy the contest for best-decorated craft.

Colony Christmas Craft Fair
The Colony Christmas Craft Fair is a shopping event featuring 200 craft vendors, a petting zoo with reindeer, horse-drawn wagon rides and of course, the annual fire art display. Bring your little ones to get their pictures taken with Santa. A winter parade makes this event truly memorable.

Christmas Dance Recital
Watch local dancers show off their talents at the Christmas Dance Recital. Dancers will show off their skills in many dance styles, from tap to hip hop, salsa and others. Bring your family or come with friends.

Juneau Public Market
The Juneau Public Market takes place over the final weekend in November through the first weekend in December. In 2018, the Public Market played host to over 200 vendors, including vendors around the state and even some vendors from other locations within the United States. Items sold include hand-crafted art, jewelry, handmade garments, outdoor gear and excellent food. Pick up your honey, berries, herbal teas, smoked salmon and more.
In addition to the gift-quality food served by vendors, food is available for shoppers to eat on site, and an espresso bar makes an excellent place to stop to drink coffee with friends. Get your holiday shopping done at the Juneau Public Market!
