Large enclosed garden too!Comments on the House There are many things we enjoyed about living in this house and about the Crestwood Circle neighborhood. The property is located on a dead end street so there is very little traffic. It is a very quiet neighborhood except for the occasional floatplane that passes overhead. It is a great location for bird watchers and has an abundance of song birds, owls, eagles, and sandhill crane nesting sites nearby. It is very close to hiking and ski trails and we often went snowshoeing right out our back door. There is almost no light pollution so the stars and northern lights were often magnificent. The property has really excellent soil and would be great for someone interested in gardening. We grew an abundance of vegetables and flowers. The property has a large enclosed vegetable garden with raised beds and a composter. There is also a small green house that needs some repair but it works and we grew great tomatoes there. The house is very private because of the tall alders and spruce trees. The back yard is especially secluded. The property is great for dogs because of the woods at the lower end and the open spaces for playing ball and Frisbee. The house was very comfortable for two people and it gets a great deal of sunlight. It is bright and cheery. Although the house is on the small side, storage was not a problem because of the large heated garage and the large crawl space which covers the entire footprint of the house. The crawl space is approximately 4 feet high so it is relatively easy to move around in. The location is very convenient because it is only ten minutes from downtown.
